• Frame corners that are internally braced to reduce racking.
• Axles that positively lock to blades without screws or welds.
• Non-stick, noncorrosive bearings that assure long life and ease of operation.
• Low maintenance operation.
TFD30 with airfoil multiple blades is designed specifically for applications where high velocity and elevated temperatures are present. It is recommended in smoke management and smoke control system with pressures up to 2 kPa and velocities 20m/s.
TFD30 meets the following international standard:
BS476 Part 20 – 4 hours FRP, in galvanized steel or stainless steel construction
UL555S – Class I leakage
Smoke extraction – Continuous operation at 250℃ for 1 hour
FSD60 Combination Fire and Smoke Damper with airfoil multiple blades are recommended in smoke management and smoke control system with pressures up to 1 kPa and velocities 20m/s.
FSD60 meets the following international standard:
• BS476 Part 20 – 4 hours FRP
• UL555 – 1.5 hours FRP
• UL555S – Class I leakage
• Smoke extraction – Continuous operation at 250degC for 1 hour
The FSD60 Combination Fire/Smoke Damper is both UL555 and UL555S Classified. It is rated as a 1-1/2 hour fire damper and a Leakage Class I Smoke damper. It features:
Rated to 3,000 fpm and 4″ w.g.
UL approval for dual directional airflow.
Airfoil blades, which have greater strength, less static pressure drop, superior sealing ability, superior fire protection ability, and produce less noise.
Failsafe design, which enables the damper to automatically assume the desired position when fire or smoke (if smoke detector is present) interrupts operational power.
The EFL or PFL heat-actuated release devices permit controlled closure through the actuator and are automatically remote resettable after test, smoke detection, or power failure conditions.
Galvanized steel construction.
Ruskin DIBD2 Curtain Type Fire Damper is a UL555 Classified Dynamic Fire Damper. It features:
• Vertical and horizontal closure spring operation for assured closure under air flow (fans on) in HVAC systems
• Galvanized steel construction
• UL555 1-1/2 Hour Rating
• BS476:Part20 4 hours Rating
• Maximum velocity 4,000 fpm
• Maximum 4” static pressure

Galvanized or stainless steel airfoil blades and frames with stainless steel axles, linkage and bearings provide the TFD80 optimum and reliable performance for fire rated tunnel ventilation dampers. Damper is equipped with either pneumatic spring return or electric with battery backup actuators and provides excellent fail-safe protection. It withstands over 8 million cycles of the world’s first 6kPa true fluctuating pressure tests without any signs of metal fatigue.
TFD80 meets the following international standards:
BS476 Part 20 – 4 hours FRP
UL555S – Class I leakage
Smoke extraction – Continuously operating at 250 deg C for 2 hours
Ruskin model TFD80 heavy duty flanged-frame fire and smoke damper maintains the highest standards of life safety for ventilation in modern tunnel transit systems. The TFD80 is designed for effective operation during normal ventilation conditions and provides a reliable means of smoke control during emergency situations. Ruskin’s TFD80 is designed to satisfy NFPA-130 & NFPA-502 standards, and also carries the following certifications:
Titus FlowBar architectural linear diffuser system maximizes engineering performance without sacrificing aesthetic considerations for the designer. FlowBar’s outstanding performance allows higher air flows than conventional linear diffusers. The wide array of slot widths allow for more CFM per linear foot while minimizing noise and pressure loss. The Flowbar system is available in continuous linear, incremental linear and square configurations.
Features and Benefits:
Multiple frame styles available to complement various ceiling types
All FlowBar systems are available curved
Directly connected to the ceiling support components ensuring straight and true installations
Integral pattern controllers are on standard 24-inch centers, allowing the airstream to be directed left and right for horizontal and vertical airflow
Mitered corners, mitered tees and butt ends are available
The Titus ML Modulinear diffuser is a high performance, high quality linear slot diffuser. The unique “ice tong” deflector blades allow both changes in air volume and direction from the face of the diffuser. This diffuser is also available in 1 through 8-slot configurations.
Features and Benefits:
Projects uniform blanket of air that adheres to the ceiling even at low flow rates
Custom curving is available to meet almost any design requirement within a 6-foot minimum radius (fixed blades only)
Designed for variable air volume systems
Choice of borders and mounting frames for a variety of installations
The Titus OMNI is a steel plaque face diffuser that satisfies architectural and engineering criteria. Its strong, clean, unobtrusive lines harmonize with the ceiling system without sacrificing performance. The curvature of the OMNI backpan works with the formed edges of the face panel to deliver a uniform 360 degree horizontal air pattern, without excessive noise or pressure drop. It is an excellent selection for variable air volume systems. It also features:
Excellent choice for variable air volume systems
Supply diffuser for architectural ceilings
Available in wood grain finishes
360 degree air pattern
Face panel is held in place by 4-hook brackets that positively engage into slots in the backpan
